Altus Partners has partnered exclusively with a leading Private Equity Investment Manager that is going through an exponential growth phase and is looking to bring on a Manager to join the successful and dynamic Investment Operations team based in London. The Investment Operations team is responsible for the development and implementation of business plans and operating models needed to increase the Private Equity investments. This role covers deal structuring, due diligence and closing, financial operations across private equity and private debt assets.

 

THE ROLE:

The role of a Transaction Manager in the Investment Operations team will work directly with the investment and execution teams and support the smooth and timely closings of investments across real assets. This involves clear and concise communication with various stakeholders

  • Work closely with execution, finance, tax, and legal teams to execute efficient and timely deal closings

  • Main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to receive and process equity transaction documents and ensure funding on a timely basis

  • Project manage simultaneous deal closings with different stakeholders across real assets

  • Assist the investment team to perform selected deal related internal compliance tasks

  • Responsible for all process and policy queries, including advising investment teams on approval processes and deal closing requirements

  • Propose and execute process efficiency gains, through industrialisation and digitalisation of repetitive and time-consuming tasks and focus on high value add processes

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4 – 7 Yrs Real Estate transactions exposure

  • Strong real estate knowledge, including direct, indirect and debt transactions

  • Experience in investment execution would be advantageous

  • Ability to forge strong partnerships with investment team and other stakeholders

  • Inquisitive self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • An analytical mind and meticulous in detail

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • A good understanding of real estate deal documents
