Altus Partners are delighted to be one of the world’s most prestigious fund managers, who are currently looking to add to their Solutions team. The fund manager, has an exceptional product base, investing across both illiquid and liquid asset classes globally. They have experienced significant growth in the past few years, due to their track-record and fundraising success and therefore present an outstanding opportunity for someone to grow their career.
THE ROLE:
The team has some of the brightest individuals in the firm, who aid Portfolio Managers and Distribution in the structuring of funds and product development across asset classes.
The role includes but is by no means limited to the following.
•Structuring, financial modelling and implementation of new and existing funds
•Structuring and maintaining documentation for new and existing funds
•Design and establishment of currency hedging strategies
•Assisting with ongoing product lifecycle of funds
•Project management of workflows around new fund establishment
•Project management of all other parties across global offices
YOUR BACKGROUND:
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate the following:
•Accounting qualification (ACA), CFA or other equivalent qualification preferred
•Experience of working with or on investment funds
•“Can-do” mentality, commercial approach and someone who will enjoy working in a hardworking and flexible growing and evolving company environment
•Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with requests from all ends of the management spectrum, both internally and externally
•Willing to support accept and implement change, and become involved in organisational improvement
•Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
•Proactive with the ability to work with minimum supervision
•Proven project management and negotiation skills
•Clear communicator, both verbally and written for both internal audiences and external investors/counterparties
•Advanced Excel skills
•Excellent academics
