This uniquely created position is to support the expansion of the quoted team and its credible portfolio. With your Equity Research / Equity Analyst background you will have the opportunity to develop key portfolio analytics skills and acumen relating to portfolio performance.
THE ROLE:
As investors who focus on providing capital to companies at growth stage, the complementary Portfolio team is looking to add to a Portfolio Analyst to their team. You will need to have a keen interest in listed companies and an appreciation for working in a sector agnostic environment. The team have proved as integral to the overall success of the firm, and you will resultantly learn from established professionals whilst developing your equity analysis experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring the investee performance
News analysis with respect to the portfolio companies, and providing updates thereof
Portfolio analysis, which extends to attribution, liquidity, relative risk, return and valuation profiles
Portfolio reporting (internal and external), including composition analysis, valuations, and estimated outcomes
THE REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of relevant experience gained in Equity Research
Proven ability in financial analysis and market analysis of stocks
Demonstrated understanding of financial updates
Strong report writing skills
Experience with post trade settlements
Knowledge of public markets
Team-oriented with a personal and professional interest in growth equity
