Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic PE-backed Pharma company to find a Strategic Programme Manager based in Europe (remote opportunity). They require someone with 5 years’ minimum in Programme/Project Management within Pharmaceuticals and need to speak English fluently.

 

THE ROLE:
  • Based in Europe, the Strategic Programme Manager will report to the Head of the Transformation Office

  • As Strategic Programme Manager you will be responsible for leading main product launches or acquisitions post signature until launched/integrated

  • This role requires leading cross functional teams to ensure a best in class on time delivery of the projects/programmes

  • Involvement in overseeing the project plan and the ongoing activities to proactively manage interdependencies and identify opportunities to accelerate or improve whilst mitigating risks

  • Involvement in setting up and managing a cross functional project team to achieve ensure best in class Team dynamics, collaboration and trust

  • This role offers a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to senior management and international exposure.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years’ minimum experience of managing projects within the pharmaceutical sector, and/or consulting background with experience in Pharma

  • Proven track record in project management, optimally in development or launch projects & experience managing multiple strategic projects/workstreams

  • Understanding of main Pharmaceutical value chain elements, such as Regulatory, Development, Production and Supply, Go to market approaches 

  • Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver

  • Excellent communication & organisation skills, ability to lead multiple teams through variety of projects

  • Autonomous and self driven team player with ability to multitask across projects and teams
