Drax Executive have partnered with a market leading PE Backed Software business based in Oslo, Norway to secure a VP of FP&A due to ongoing expansion.

This is a key strategic hire reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer, the business is currently at circa €35m Revenue with huge potential growth.

You will be a proven FP&A Leader with a track record of developing internal FP&A processes, Power BI and being a strategic sounding board to Senior Leadership Teams.

THE ROLE:

This mandate offers a very broad and interesting remit, where you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your career within this high growth private equity business environment.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have regular strategic engagement with the Board and Investors providing exposure to all key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic financial modelling to drive growth and ensure cost control across the group.

  • Oversee annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Provide financial and market insights to senior leadership; manage recurring performance reporting for executives and the Board of Directors.

  • Support investment analysis and M&A evaluations, including due diligence and financial impact assessments.

  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and balance sheet optimisation.

THE REQUIREMENTS
  • 6–12 years of professional experience in strategic management consulting, CFO advisory, or similar roles within FP&A or finance

  • Strong analytical abilities and a solid foundation in quantitative problem-solving

  • Hands-on experience with both strategic and quantitative analysis

  • Exposure to international environments and/or high-growth (scale-up) businesses is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent tools); experience with BI tools is a plus

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), as well as in at least one Scandinavian language
