Altus Partners are excited to be partnered with an investor-backed Software business which has secured significant funding from leading Private Equity, and Venture Capital funds. They are at the forefront of their industry, and are a trusted partner to some of the world’s largest organisations, already boasting a significant presence across the US and EMEA.

They are seeking an ambitious VP of Finance, to act as the right-hand person to the CFO in a highly strategic position. Playing a key role in the leadership team, this person will lead and develop a world-class finance function, and help facilitate the organisations continued growth as they move towards a high profile exit event.

THE ROLE:

  • Leading and developing both the operational and commercial finance teams.

  • Creating, owning and delivering the finance and accounting strategy for the group, ensuring robust financial governance and controls, insightful management information and a high-performing team

  • Be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, including management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and all statutory reporting, while ensuring that management information is timely and accurate and providing insights into the value drivers for the group

  • Be responsible for the cash flow management of the group, ensuring that appropriate treasury controls and working capital management is in place and adhered to.

  • Ensuring that the group’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth requirements.

  • Contributing fully to the development of group strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.

  • Working with the Executive and as part of the senior management team to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.

  • Other projects or activities (including potential Corporate Development opportunities), as required, contributing to the performance and strategic direction of the group.


THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 7+ years post qualified experience

  • Experience working within a PE/VC-backed environment desirable

  • Advanced financial modelling / Excel skills

  • Experience working in tech-enabled / SaaS business

  • Hands-on attitude/Start-up mentality
