The company provides tailored and specialist advice for finance raises, mergers and acquisitions and trade sales. They work with exciting high growth companies and are looking for a creative and commercial thinker with a strong work ethic and collegial attitude to join their growing team.
THE ROLE:
As an Associate Director, you will work closely with the MD and play a leading role in the preparation and project management of various transactions. You will act as the ‘go-to’ person for the Associates whilst actively managing client interfaces, taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of transactions.
Key responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
Project mange transactions (with support from Manging Director) including being one of the senior points of contact with clients on projects
Actively managing client interfaces, taking responsibility for the day to day delivery of transactions
Overseeing and managing preparation of IMs/teasers, management presentation and financial models
Directing and managing colleagues, support staff and other external advisors
Coaching and contributing to the development of junior team members
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Attributes Technical knowledge and experience:
3-5 years corporate finance & M&A experience
Track record of working and closing sell-side and financing deals ACA qualified with Big 4 accounting firm
Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills
Personal attributes:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to use own initiative
Good attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Flexible and adaptable attitude
