THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have been retained by a market leading PE Backed industrials business based in the City of London to secure a FP&A Manager for this buy and build asset.
This is a key strategic hire reporting directly to the CFO of this circa £120m Revenue / £16m EBITDA business.
You will be a proven FP&A Leader with a track record of developing internal FP&A processes, Power BI and being a strategic sounding board to Senior Leadership Teams.
The business is based in the City of London, but the position will require travel to sites across the UK each month including The Midlands, Northeast and South Coast (circa 1-2 days per week at each site).
You will have flexibility to work remote for the remainder of your week if desired with a requirement to attend monthly leadership meetings at their City of London HQ.
This is a sole ‘hands on’ position working closely with the CFO with remit to eventually build out a team as the business grows.
THE ROLE:
This mandate offers a very broad and interesting remit, where you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your career within this high growth business environment.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will have regular strategic engagement with the Board, Site Leaders and Investors providing exposure to all key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the monthly business performance review.
Develop reporting templates and the leading on the ongoing development of the monthly Board packs.
Provide monthly analysis for the group Board pack to identify key variances and areas of focus, as well as ad hoc analysis on business trends and issues.
Ownership of internal budgeting and forecasting processes.
Cash flow forecasting reporting and proactive development of internal reporting and analysis around this.
Key role in driving opportunities to streamline and automate current reporting processes, which continue to add value and insights.
Ad hoc strategic finance projects and analysis.
Support with Finance Integration processes of newly acquired companies, including the roll out of the group’s various FP&A processes into these companies.
Forecasting, tracking & reporting of synergies associated with M&A and other value add activities across the group, in line with business cases.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Proven track record of developing internal FP&A processes and Power BI utilisation.
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
A proven strategic Business Partner.
Happy to commit to weekly travel across The Midlands, Northeast and South Coast (circa 2 days per week).
