THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity House to find a Group CEO for one of their portfolio companies based in Germany. They require a Native German Speaker with a track record in PE Backed Industrials space (Ideally in Electrical Engineering). The candidate will also need to have a track record of working in a business which leads large scale projects.
THE ROLE:
Based in Germany the CEO will report directly to PE/Board
The individual will be involved in conducting strategic acquisitions into new and existing markets, developing and implementing group strategy and key strategic projects
Ownership of developing the group growth strategy together with the senior management team
Involvement in defining and overseeing cross border operational strategic projects (e.g. best practices transfer in procurement, operational excellence)
This role offers complete autonomy with significant exposure to top management (group management and country level management teams).
THE REQUIREMENTS:
+8 years of experience in M&A/M&A Integration
Fluent German Speaker
Track record in Electrical Engineering Buy and Build/Installation buy and build
Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver
Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management teams as well as interact with entrepreneurs, advisors and small business owners
Motivated and self driven with ability to multitask across projects
Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationship with the country teams
International work exposure a definite plus
