Altus Partners are delighted be partnering with a leading asset manager (c.£500 billion AUM) who are looking to hire a Client Services Analyst on an initial 12-month contract, to support ongoing reporting, administrative workflows and projects within their Private Equity business.

This is a hands-on role and an opportunity to drive improvements within a high-growth and fast paced environment. The role is highly analytical, requires a keen eye for detail, experience in drafting presentations and reports for internal and external dissemination. The role is project driven, focused on instilling procedure, accuracy and timeliness to existing established processes within the team.

 

THE ROLE: 
  • Quarterly reporting – assisting in preparing the client reporting process and reviewing inputs required for final reports:

  • Preparation and review of investor reporting and Fund analysis with the assistance of the wider Performance and Analytics Team and internal stakeholders. This includes collating and drafting the fund investment performance reports and reviewing the investment write ups in an accurate and timely manner

  • Review and update documentation where needed across reporting workflows

  • Assist in reviewing structured governance reporting (client meeting data and AGMs)

  • Assisting in managing the Client Portal including key contacts.

  • Ensuring consistency and reconciliation of financial data across the client reports and presentations.

  • Document and filing management for key reports, meeting notes and other presentations

  • Working closely with the administrators and fund accounting team to ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely and reflects all relevant insight from the wider team

  • Support data collation from key stakeholders (investment teams, investor relations, third parties)

  • Document and critically review existing processes, achieving a detailed understanding of reporting cycle, including timelines, key stakeholders and outputs in order to deliver accountabilities

  • Assisting in the streamlining, collation and preparation of the quarterly investor reporting cycle across Private Equity, covering multiple legal entities

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) min: 2:1 obtained

  • Minimum three years’ work experience in the financial services sector

  • Working towards a professional financial qualification, or newly qualified – i.e. chartered financial analyst / chartered accountant / equivalent financial qualification beneficial, but not required

  • Knowledge of fund accounting, client services, or administration background within Private Markets beneficial

  • Excellent attention to detail, working in a structured and methodical approach

  • Report writing skills - including fluent command of business level English
