THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a prominent Mid-Market Private Equity firm to lead the search for a Commercial Finance Director for a leading consumer goods brand based in London. The organisation has an established international customer base with operations in Europe and the US and has experienced consistent organic growth. As part of the value creation plan, they are looking to supplement this with wider strategic partnerships to fuel commercial opportunities.
They are now seeking a Commercial FD to join their best-in-class leadership team and support the Group CFO on all strategic/commercial finance matters. This is a key hire and will suit an FP&A/Commercial Finance leader with a strong track record at B2C brands, along with Private Equity exposure.
THE ROLE:
Leadership and development of the Commercial Finance function both domestically and at international entities
Lead on all data presentation and commercial insight
Comprehensive analysis relating to potential key strategic partners and collaborations
Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan
Ownership of the financial components of vendor diligence processes to support corporate transactions
Analysis and insight into all aspects of business performance and key performance metrics
Interaction with the broader finance team to interpret a complex range of data points
Concise and impactful presentation of Key Performance Indicators to the executive team, investors and lenders
Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above
Performing sensitivity analysis as required
Modelling to assist with transaction/M&A activity
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Prior B2C/consumer experience is highly beneficial
Exposure to a high growth retail led environment or established function
Private Equity experience is highly beneficial
