Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a multi strategy global investment manager with over 35 years of track record, employing over 800 employees across 13 different offices globally, to identify a Senior Associate into their Fixed Income investment team, to source, execute and manage European Investment Grade Bond Opportunities.
THE ROLE:
Assessing Investment Grade bond investment opportunities
Evaluation of risk-reward factors, legal structure, capital structure, bond covenants, technical/fundamental drivers, and the value of other issuers within a certain industry.
Able to recommend and/or defend investment rationale opinions for different products to PMs.
Monitor position signals on an ongoing basis while supplying necessary communication around the portfolio
THE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in investment grade credit analysis.
Extensive track record of covering a wide range of credit sectors.
Excellent technical skills include financial analysis, evaluation of industry fundamentals, management/strategy assessment, ability to question company management.
Ability to assess the relative value of IG bond investment deals through risk analysis, assessing legal and capital structures, bond covenants, and other factors.
Broad and diverse knowledge of the European industrials sector is required; financial experience a plus.
Excellent knowledge of the European Bond market
CFA study is preferred.
