Altus Partners is delighted to be partnered with a Private Equity backed ecommerce platform based in London. The company has experienced record growth over the last 3 years due to excellent brand positioning and its award-winning interface. Moreover, they have a growing loyal customer base and operate globally. In line with recent funding, the company is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the finance function and work closely with the CFO to ensure they hit their strategic milestones. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain mid-market Private Equity exposure and mentorship from an established CFO.
THE ROLE:
Full ownership of the close process for the group ensuring the month is closed in a timely manner.
Production of the Management Accounts Pack with variance analysis explaining key movements.
Preparation of multi-currency consolidation of the group P&L and Balance sheet
Implementation and continuous improvement of the management accounts pack to support the business growth and complexity.
Oversight and development of a junior accountant
Implementing a robust financial control environment across the group ensuring completeness and accuracy of data
Strong balance sheet control ensuring all accounts are reconciled and reviewed monthly.
Reviewing, implementing and improving processes in finance, automating as the business experiences 2x growth.
Overseeing day to day and management of a small but growing team.
Working with our accountants for submission of year end corporation tax returns
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA
Experience at an accountancy practice will be beneficial
Online/technology experience is preferred
Experience in working for a high growth organisation is highly beneficial
