Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a Private Equity backed SaaS organisation based in Central London. The company. The organisation has recently started a new investment cycle, and is seeking to supplement its organic growth with an expansive buy and build strategy. They are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function and work closely with the CFO to ensure that strategic key objectives are met.

 

THE ROLE:

  • doing day to day (key tasks and responsibilities) Working closely with the CFO, and wider Finance Team you will be required to:

  • Ensure the Group maintains a strong financial control environment

  • Lead and develop parts of the finance team

  • Support on M&A and integration of current and future acquisitions, on a buy and build journey this is expected to be frequent

  • Review the consolidation of monthly results

  • Review the monthly Board Pack for Board reporting

  • Treasury and cash management, including forecasting, across the Group

  • Manage the relationship with the Group's lenders

  • Lead on legal contract reviews and liaise with our external lawyers

  • Day to day management of the UK People Team

  • Ensure a compliant and well-planned tax environment

  • Overall responsibility for the Group Statutory Accounts and main point of contact with our auditors.

  • Significant ad hoc project work

 

THE REQUIERMENTS:

  • Strong financial accounting background and strong technical accounting experience

  • Experience working in an international business

  • Ideally experience of a Private Equity backed business environment

  • Genuine drive and commitment to produce the highest quality work and to deliver technical expertise at all times

  • M&A experience an advantage
