Altus Partners are currently partnered with a Private Equity backed technology business that is currently seeking a Group Financial Controller who can facilitate the group’s significant growth following a number of high profile acquisitions. Our client is a global brand and is backed by one of the world’s leading private equity funds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience of working for a rapidly growing, PE backed, international business.
THE ROLE:
Deliver process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process
Integration of recent successful acquisitions
Oversight of the day-to-day running of the operational Finance team (10 qualified accountants)
Leading the annual audit process
Manage a number of key external stakeholder relationships
Play an integral role in investor reporting alongside the Group CFO
Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance across various international jurisdictions
Full responsibility for the overseeing of month-end and year-end close process
Assisting the FP&A Director with the preparation of the group budget and group financial forecasts
THE REQUIREMENTS:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Fully qualified with 10 years+ PQE
Experience working within a large cap private equity backed environment beneficial
Advanced Excel skills
Strong technical knowledge of UK and US GAAP
Very high level of initiative and self-motivation
