THE SEARCH:

​Altus Partners have been retained by a leading Global private equity-backed Technology business who are seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.  Working closely with the CFO and the wider finance team, you will be responsible for liaising with the private equity owners to ensure that the company is performing accordingly with their growth cycle to make an exit within the next 2-4 years. 

 

THE ROLE:

  • Take full ownership for overseeing the FP&A activities within the international function, whilst managing a team of 4 direct reports 

  • Provide commercial insight to the senior leadership team and external stakeholders 

  • Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan

  • Working closely with the CFO on all M&A activity, including in-depth financial modelling 

  • Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above

  • Able to clearly demonstrate and present to the board and PE team on current business activities 

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)  with significant post-qualified experience 

  • Over 5 years experience of working within a Commercial/ FP&A role 

  • Experience of working for a PE backed business, preferably within the Tech sector 

  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to challenge internal and external stakeholders 

  • Previous team management experience
