Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity House to find an M&A Director for one of their portfolio companies based in Frankfurt. They require a native German Speaker capable of executing the full M&A process from origination to SPA’s. The role will come with market leading salary, bonus and equity.

THE ROLE:

  • Based in Frankfurt the Director will report to the Group’s senior management team (CEO, CFO, COO and Head of M&A)

  • The Director will be involved in conducting strategic acqusitions into new and existing markets, developing and implementing group strategy and key strategic projects

  • This is an exciting and dynamic role with attractive career development opportunities which will allow you to gain significant practical M&A and operational experience in the best in class roll up team

  • Involvement in developing the group growth strategy together with the senior management team

  • Involvement in defining and overseeing cross border operational strategic projects (e.g. best practices transfer in procurement, operational excellence)

  • This role offers a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to top management (group management and country level management teams).

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • +8 years of experience in M&A at a top tier investment bank or within a Corporate..

  • Strong modelling and financial / accounting skills, proficient in power point  

  • Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management teams as well as interact with entrepreneurs, advisors and small business owners

  • Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects
