THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a preeminent Private Equity House to find a Head of M&A for a pan-European healthcare asset to be based in Germany. Reporting into the Chief Corporate Development Officer, this role will require a native German speaker capable of executing the full life-cycle of an M&A process as well as implementing strategy, overall acting as a catalyst to the company's continued inorganic and organic growth. The role will come with market leading salary, bonus and equity.
THE ROLE:
Based in the Germany the role will report directly to the Group’s Senior Management Team.
The role will be involved in conducting strategic acqusitions into new and existing markets, developing and implementing group strategy and key strategic projects

Involvement in developing the group growth strategy together with the Senior Management Team.
Involvement in defining and overseeing cross border operational strategic projects (e.g. best practices transfer in procurement, operational excellence)
This role offers a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to top management (group management and country level management teams).
THE REQUIREMENTS
Between 8-15 years of tangible buy-side experience, preferably with a background in IB or Corporate Finance.
Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management teams as well as interact with entrepreneurs, advisors and small business owners
Motivated and self driven with ability to multitask across projects
Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationship with the country teams
