Our client is a global asset manager with an exceptional product track record that focuses on a range of actively managed solutions in the Alternatives space. They are currently looking for an ambitious sales professional to join their Sales team focusing on Institutional European Sales. This role will be working with the Co-Heads to expand the firm's presence in the Institutional Markets. The roles coverage will either be solely focused on Germany OR on France and other Southern European clients. 


  • Joining an already established team that is looking to grow and build upon prior success, your role will include but by no means be limited to the following: 

  • Work with the Head of Business Development to strategise European Institutional Sales, raise assets and ensure long term growth

  • Build new networks and use existing relationships with Institutional clients, such as pension funds, insurers or sovereign wealth funds 

  • Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing

  • Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts in the UK Institutional market

  • Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to effectively and confidently discuss with clients and prospects

  • Research and identify new client/relationship development opportunities

  • Confidently present to clients, prospects on the firm's investments and funds/strategies



You will demonstrate a sales background, ideally in institutional sales or a related area. You will also be keen to learn and develop and seek out guidance regarding building to win major tickets for the firm. You will also be proactive in nature and be eager to develop quickly. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of Fixed Income AND OR Private Equity
