THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is delighted to be partnering with a leading Growth Equity investor to identify an Interim Finance Lead for a 3–6-month initial engagement. This is a critical role designed to support and optimise the firm’s finance function, ensuring robust financial management, operational efficiency, and strategic resource allocation.
THE ROLE:
The role includes but is by no means limited to the following:
Management Company Finance & Operations
Ensure accurate accounting and record-keeping processes.
Work with the firm’s outsourced bookkeeping provider to ensure timely reconciliations and accurate financial reporting through Xero.
Oversee treasury management, funds flow controls, and tax compliance.
Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making.
Ensure timely review and allocation of expenses across entities.
Drive automation and efficiency through outsourcing and cloud-based technology solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Report to senior leadership while collaborating across investment, investor relations, and compliance teams.
Support capital allocation decisions by providing insightful financial analysis.
Assist in board and management reporting, ensuring high standards of accuracy and clarity.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
You will demonstrate the following in your background and profile:
Strong experience in financial operations within investment management, private equity, or asset management.
Expertise in financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset.
Experience working with modern finance technology solutions, including cloud-based platforms.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate independently and drive projects to completion.
