THE SEARCH:

​Altus Partners is leading the search for a notable large-cap Private Equity firm to find their next Director of FP&A at a high-growth disrupter in financial services based in the UK.

As a lead for the global FP&A function, you will be at the helm of the financial strategy and part of an expedited exit process at C-1 level. This is a chance to make a real impact, working alongside a talented team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and directly support a highly experienced PE CFO.

This role will suit a Director/Head of FP&A/Head of Commercial Finance level candidate at a Private Capital backed asset, ideally with a practice background, M&A and modelling.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Support the CFO on all commercial decision making, offering insightful analysis and assessing the implications of various strategic decisions.

  • Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the CFO and investors.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for expansion and optimisation.

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. 

  • Develop comprehensive financial forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accuracy and transparency in financial disclosures.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.

  • Oversee financial modeling, investment analysis, and due diligence activities for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

  • Management and recruitment of an FP&A team.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Financial Services/Professional Services/Technology experience

  • Private Equity/High growth company exposure (1k + employees)

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Audit/practice background

  • Modelling/Strong analytical skillset
