THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are to be partners with a market-leading Tech investor that is looking for an Associate to join its Software focused team. As an Investment Associate you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. Collaborating closely with the investment team, you will conduct extensive market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to identify potential investments that align with the funds investment strategy. Furthermore, you will support portfolio companies in their growth initiatives and monitor market trends to stay ahead of emerging opportunities.
THE ROLE:
Conduct thorough market research and industry analysis to identify potential investment targets
Perform rigorous financial modelling and valuation analyses to assess investment opportunities
Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate and execute transactions, including due diligence and deal structuring
Assist in managing and monitoring portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support
Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to identify new investment opportunities
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong passion for technology and a deep understanding of the software and tech industry
Previous experience in investment banking, private equity or a related field
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to perform complex financial modelling
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
Proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
