THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have just started to exclusively work with a global large-cap private equity fund who are looking to hire their next 4 Investment Associates for their world-renowned 2-year program. They are looking to bring on board an Investment Associates into their hugely successful Private Equity team working as a generalist across the TMT sectors and investing across Europe. The fund invests across the capital structure and are highly opportunistic in their approach to making investments. They only invest in controlling stakes (or buy-out) in companies that they look to acquire and pride themselves on having a unique and operational approach to making these investments.
THE ROLE:
Based in London, the Investment Associates will focus largely on analysing investment opportunities in privately owned TMT businesses where the team can identify and influence strategic change with an operational approach. The Associate will support in the structuring and negotiations of equity investments, both from a technical and commercial perspective, as well as have experience Co-ordinating with both lawyers, consultants and investment bankers on transactions. The Investment Associate will also be charged with working on the monitoring and execution of strategic initiatives and will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and relationships across the investment landscape.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Currently be in their 2nd year (minimum level of experience) of investment banking in M&A or Leverage Finance from a top tier institution.
Be from a Bulge Bracket bank or leading TMT corporate finance advisor.
Outstanding financial modelling skills (full LBO,DCF models from scratch.
Additional European languages is highly advantageous
