​THE SEARCH

 This is an excellent opportunity to join a global fund with over $100bn of AUM, as an investment associate focusing on financing across the full capital structure from different segments of debt through to equity across the full healthcare spectrum. The team seeks to achieve attractive, risk-adjusted absolute returns by originating or participating in the syndication of performing debt issued by North American and European companies. Life Sciences Lending is a sub-set of this strategy that supports the growth of transformative Life Science companies by combining in-house scientific expertise with industry-leading structuring capabilities.

THE ROLE:

• Analysing company financial statements

• Developing detailed financial models with projections

• Assessing company capital structures and reviewing related legal documents

• Analysing company valuations using various macroeconomic and business specific assumptions

• Conducting interviews with industry experts and company management

• Performing qualitative business and industry due diligence

• Developing comprehensive investment thesis and memos

• Participating in deal structuring, legal documentation and negotiations

THE REQUIREMENTS:

•  At least 2-3 years of experience as an analyst with a top investment bank within healthcare investment banking or leveraged finance

• Outstanding financial modelling and analytical skills

• Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance

• Healthcare experience or exposure helpful, but not essential.
