Their fundraising success has resulted in the opportunity for an experienced professional to join their esteemed team. This opportunity is ideally matched for an intellectually curious professional who is committed to cultivating a career as an investor, in an autonomous environment.
THE ROLE:
The fund seeks to hire an experienced professional (from either a front office sell-side or buy-side team). Your participation will start from initial investment appraisal, through to structuring, financial close and portfolio monitoring. This role will afford you the following responsibilities (amongst others):
Market and industry research for potential investment opportunities in an efficient and resourceful manner
Due diligence (ESG, Commercial, Financial)
Valuation and complex financial modelling
Compilation of deal documentation
Financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder recommendations for portfolio monitoring
Wider deal support and stakeholder engagement
THE REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 years’ professional experience from either an Investment Bank (M&A or Leverage Finance) or 2 – 4 years' combined IBD and PE experience
Well-developed financial modelling skills
Articulate professional with esteemed writing and presentation skills
Respectable comprehension of Sustainable Investing
Team oriented yet independent and prided by good organizational skills
Commercially astute with the ability to reason through credible and evidenced data
Experience in Sustainable/ Impact deals in a developed economy will be advantageous
