Altus Partners are delighted to partner with a leading Renewable Energy investor in their search for an experienced Invest Manager to join their team in London. The role sits in their renewable energy and infrastructure private equity team which targets investments in renewable energy projects and associated infrastructure in the UK, Europe, and Nordics. The team is looking to double it’s AUM in the next 2 years and has a rapidly growing team with considerable capital to invest.

As an Investment Manager, your main responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day acquisition process on a wide range of transactions within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors and to support the team of Directors in delivering best in class investment management services to our funds.

THE ROLE:

• Execution of transactions in the renewable energy and infrastructure space

• Working in small teams of investment professionals across multiple transactions

• Financial modelling and asset valuation

• Writing investment memos and investment committee papers

• Proactively identifying value accretion opportunities on existing assets

• Contribute constructive suggestions within team discussions to ensure all deals are of the highest quality.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Track record of executing transactions in the core renewable energy or infrastructure space in the UK and Europe

• Not less than 5 years’ relevant experience in an infrastructure or private equity investor or adviser

• Experience of typical project finance structures

• The ability to remain calm and composed whilst working under pressure

• Excellent financial modelling skills and an intuitive feel for whether a model is giving you the right answer.

• Knowledge of Nordic/Northern European languages is a plus
