THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are working exclusively with a rapidly growing, private equity backed global healthcare business, headquartered in Central London, with offices Europe and the US. Having recently received investment from a leading Private Equity fund, our client are looking to implement an aggressive buy-and-build strategy as they increase their coverage in the DACH region. They are seeking an experienced M&A Manager to be based their Frankfurt office, who can support the group’s M&A strategy, and work closely with the Chief Corporate Development Officer as they continue their exponential inorganic growth.

THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for identifying and managing the pipeline of M&A targets, managing deal processes from inception to integration

  • Prepare analysis of M&A targets to highlight similarities, differences, and opportunities in the market

  • Develop and maintain tracker of relevant M&A opportunities

  • Research potential M&A targets with the M&A analyst including market and sectors, product offering, competitors, financials, industry news etc.

  • Business Partner with our local finance, commercial and operations teams to develop partnerships that will help facilitate the deal process

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for our financial advisors and other key external stakeholders

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific queries throughout the deal process

  • Develop and support junior team members through coaching, OKR setting and collaboration

  • Work closely with the Chief Corporate Development Officer on key commercial projects

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years working in a top-tier consulting firm or leading investment bank

  • Exceptional analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving

  • Strong P&L modelling skills

  • Comfortable interacting with senior management

  • Fluent in English

  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software

  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience desired
