THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are working exclusively with a rapidly growing, private equity backed global healthcare business, headquartered in Central London, with offices Europe and the US. Having recently received investment from a leading Private Equity fund, our client are looking to implement an aggressive buy-and-build strategy as they increase their coverage in the DACH region. They are seeking an experienced M&A Manager to be based their Frankfurt office, who can support the group’s M&A strategy, and work closely with the Chief Corporate Development Officer as they continue their exponential inorganic growth.
THE ROLE:
Responsible for identifying and managing the pipeline of M&A targets, managing deal processes from inception to integration
Prepare analysis of M&A targets to highlight similarities, differences, and opportunities in the market
Develop and maintain tracker of relevant M&A opportunities
Research potential M&A targets with the M&A analyst including market and sectors, product offering, competitors, financials, industry news etc.
Business Partner with our local finance, commercial and operations teams to develop partnerships that will help facilitate the deal process
Act as the day-to-day contact for our financial advisors and other key external stakeholders
Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific queries throughout the deal process
Develop and support junior team members through coaching, OKR setting and collaboration
Work closely with the Chief Corporate Development Officer on key commercial projects
THE REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years working in a top-tier consulting firm or leading investment bank
Exceptional analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving
Strong P&L modelling skills
Comfortable interacting with senior management
Fluent in English
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software
Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience desired
