THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners have partnered with a Leading Private Equity Firm that is looking for a Group Management Accountant to join them. The role will be in a fast paced environment in a dynamic team and will give exposure to all areas of the Finance Function.

 

THE ROLE:

This role will provide excellent exposure to all financial aspects of a fast-growing business with technical products and will involve exposure to numerous teams across the business. Main Responsibilities to include:

  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

  • Evaluate & make recommendations regarding automation of processes and increasing working efficiency

  • Assist in preparation of consolidated monthly MI pack for the Group.

  • Preparation of accounts in line with reporting standards (IFRS / FRS102).

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts the Group.

  • Secondary point of contact for external auditors in relation to audit of Group companies. 

  • Ensure audit queries / requests are dealt with in a timely manner.

  • Maintain the ledgers and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for review

  • Weekly bank recs for all corporate accounts.

  • Ensure group financial policies are adhered to.

  • Build and maintain effective relationship with finance team and senior stakeholders.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)

  • Experience in a Group Function

  • Investment Management Experience is essential but not requires

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong academics

  • Strong knowledge of Excel

  • Strong technical accounting skills

  • Strong Communicator
