Altus Partners are working exclusively with an impact-focused private manager that is looking to hire a Managing Director to lead their Sales team, supporting the CEO to create and deliver on asset growth strategies. The fund currently runs private credit strategies but is looking to expand this across equities and alternatives (impact funds). The business is going through an exciting growth phase and the role provides an opportunity for you to lead a dynamic team and represent the firm’s credit-focused investment strategies to institutional clients across Europe.
Leading a small team to strategize global Institutional Sales, raise assets and ensure long-term growth;
Build new networks and use existing relationships with institutional clients business;
Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing.
Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts in the European Institutional market.
Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to discuss with clients and prospects effectively and confidently
Research and identify new client/relationship development opportunities
Confidently present to clients, and prospects the firm's investments and funds/strategies
To have extensive fund-raising experience across alternative strategies
To have a client-first attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
To have a deep investor-network in the across the institutional space (European coverage preferred but not essential)
Experience developing robust outreach strategies and penetrating new markets
