Altus Partners are delighted to be working with a leading Asset Manager to identify a Portfolio Manager to join their UK real estate bridge lending team, focused on delivering £1M to £15M financing solutions across the UK residential and commercial sectors to developers, entrepreneurs, and investors.
THE ROLE:
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading the strategy and overall performance of the UK Real Estate Bridge Lending business, throughout the loan cycle, including oversight of our Origination and Underwriting and with full ownership of Portfolio Management and Investor Relations. Essential job functions include:
Responsible for growing the loan book using industry knowledge to develop lending opportunities.
Develop the overall strategy for business growth and expansion.
Overall responsibility for the Origination, Credit Risk Management, Underwriting, and Portfolio team performance.
Team leadership and team career development.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
You will have held a senior role within Real Estate lending, ideally first lien senior secured lending with a focus on refurbishment, commercial and development lending
Experience leading small teams is essential.
You bring deep sector knowledge, across origination, credit and portfolio management.
Experience in making credit decisions and working with non-performing loans.
