​THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are very excited to work with a leading Energy Transition investment and development platform in London. The team has recently formed a strategic partnership with an established LP, laying the foundation for a highly ambitious growth strategy. They are committed to the development, investment, and operation of renewable energy at scale, investing in both renewable energy developers and projects across a range of renewable energy technologies including solar PV, wind, energy storage, waste-to-energy and energy efficiency

THE ROLE:

• Involvement in all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including investment sourcing, evaluation, execution, post-investment oversight with a primary focus in evaluating investment opportunities and executing transactions as well as overseeing completed investments.

• Being a core member of the Energy Transition Investment team, and taking a key role in transaction execution across the European renewable energy and energy transition sectors in different markets

• Managing deal teams, including external advisers, through investment execution including coordinating due diligence, valuation, documentation and approvals

• Managing investment oversight activities for portfolio companies, including working closely with

• Portfolio company management teams on projects including bolt-on M&A, refinancing, etc.

• Supporting senior team members with investment sourcing

• Guiding and developing junior team members

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent academic record from a leading university

• 4-8 years’ experience in renewables or infrastructure investing, developer, IPP, investment banking or renewable energy and energy transition-focused roles

• Strong knowledge of the renewable energy and energy transition sectors

• Strong numerical, interpersonal / communications skills and attention to detail

• Proven initiative, judgment and strong work ethic

• Fluency in European languages well regarded
