Altus Partners are working alongside a Private Equity Investment Manager who adopts a unique investing strategy which focuses on GP-Led secondary transactions and direct investing. As an established team they deliver to PE funds through restructuring and recapitalisation, whilst taking a long-term perspective on investment opportunities. Capitalizing on their broad geographic focus they seek to deploy ~USD250-500m of equity per deal. With a Finance and/ or Consulting background, you will have the privilege of joining a team with an impressive growth trajectory as they seek to launch Fund IV.

 

THE ROLE:

As a specialist Private Equity Investment Manager, the team is looking to grow their team by appointing an experienced professional from either the Investment or Consulting industry. This is an instrumental hire as you will focus on fundraising and portfolio monitoring workstreams, which extends to owning and cultivating credible relationships with investors across sectors. It is a rewarding opportunity to develop a strong suite of fundraising and investor relationship management skills, as a key part of the investment team. You will partner with senior leadership as you create high impact through the entrepreneurial platform afforded to you. This will grant you the following responsibilities:

  • Increasing and strengthening the network of investors through fundraising and investor relationship management respectively

  • Due diligence (quantitative and qualitative) for potential investors

  • Creating marketing material

  • Portfolio monitoring which includes trend analysis, reporting, and providing recommendations

  • Providing strategic support to the leadership team, especially with fundraising efforts and business operations

  • Managing internal stakeholder relationships across the Investments, Marketing, and Client Relations teams

 
THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in either an Investment Bank (M&A/ Alternative investments), Management Consulting, or Private Equity

  • Client-centricity with orientation towards business development and acquiring a profitable network of investors

  • Team-oriented together with the appreciation of working autonomously

  • Analytical skills with proven ability in working with financial models and analysing financial information

  • Ability to deliver high-quality marketing material

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills

  • Effective communicator (verbal and written) with adeptness in managing senior stakeholders
