​THE SEARCH:

Senior Data Analyst required. Altus Partners’ client, a leading private equity firm, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team in London on an initial 12-month contract. You must have experience working in private equity / asset management / investment management. 

The Senior Data Analyst will be working with a broad range of stakeholders from across the private equity firm to understand business requirements with the overarching goal of aligning their disparate data sets.

The environment is fast-paced yet collaborative and the Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s initiative of using data to help drive value creation. 

 

THE ROLE:

  • Define and own a roadmap of analytics and insight projects

  • Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business requirements

  • Provide business performance reports to stakeholders

  • Developing dashboards that are user-friendly and provide a broad range of insights across the portfolio

  • Identify and present opportunities to improve efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and drive value creation

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ years as a Data Analyst

  • 1-2+ years in private equity

  • Strong track record of building interactive PowerBI dashboards

  • Deep understanding of analytics engineering, code review, and data modelling

  • Passionate about learning new technologies

  • Ability to define business problems in statistical terms

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – must be able to build relationships with senior investment professionals
