THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are currently partnered with a market leading, large-cap private equity backed Healthcare & Life Sciences business headquartered in Berlin. The business is experiencing a period of aggressive international expansion, with plans for numerous high profile acquisitions over the next 18 months. They are now seeking a Group Controller, to provide key support to the Founder, Head of Controlling, and CFO on crucial commercial projects, as well as engaging in regular interaction with the private equity owners.
THE ROLE:
Business partner for the controlling team, assisting in budgeting and treasury planning
Lead on validating the budgeting and forecasting activity, responsible for alignment on cashflow planning
Working closely with the MDs in the laboratories to track the business on behalf of the Group (incl. cost control and client profitability, as well as working capital management)
Responsible for preparing parts of key presentation and analysis materials alongside the Head of Controlling for Private Equity investors
Track cost savings and optimisation initiatives for COO
Support process efficiency improvement within the central team
Supporting the region in establishing client profitability reporting
Being an expert on the Group policies for the region
Work with the wider Finance team, assisting on various cross-group ad-hoc projects
THE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years’ experience in relevant positions
University degree in Business, Economics or Accountancy preferred
Fluent German and English language skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Confident communicating with senior management
