THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are currently working with one of the most rapidly-growing software businesses in Europe which recently achieved unicorn status. Following a highly successful fund raise, they are looking to build a best in class team that can help facilitate the businesses aggressive growth plans. The VP of Finance will act as a number 2 to the CFO and partner them on all strategic project work including M&A, as well as playing an integral role in preparing the business for an IPO.

THE ROLE:

  • Be the right hand to the CFO on all strategic project work

  • Help prepare the business for an exit event within the next 4 years

  • Help build and develop a world-leading FP&A function

  • Oversee the businesses financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

  • Develop in-depth insights into the businesses drivers and financial forecasts

  • Create a best-in-class BI function

  • Drive the month-end and year-end reporting requirements

  • Have extensive interaction with external investment teams

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 10+ years post qualified experience

  • Experience working within a PE/VC backed environment desirable

  • Experience of M&A/Corporate development beneficial

  • Experience working in a listed business beneficial

  • Hands-on attitude/Start-up mentality
