THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is pleased to be working with one world’s argest funds that is looking for an Associate to join its credit investment team. This team is at a rapid stage of growth, and you will gain an unrivalled exposure to senior management globally. As a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and passion for finding solutions to complex problems you will be arranging debt for its for new deal origination, as well as later debt arranging and the syndication of debt with 3rd party investors. Every transaction is different, and this role is suitable for someone who likes to be part of a fast moving, growing team and is comfortable working across a range of projects.
THE ROLE:
Interacting with investment partners internally and external investors to syndicate
Building and developing complex financial models
Undertaking risk analysis
Keeping company credit exposures within set risk bearing limits
Keeping knowledge of key issues up-to-date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)
Making recommendations about procedural/policy changes.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Significant leveraged finance/capital markets experience at least at the Associate Level if coming from banking/buyside
Self-starter – able to take on responsibility and use initiative
Strong analytical skills
High emotional intelligence
