THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners have just been mandated to work with one of the UK’s most prominent Infrastructure debt investors. Their Infrastructure Portfolio Management Team works across all of their listed private Infrastructure funds with a net asset value of over £500m. Portfolio Management within this role is specified by financial management, reporting and the provision of technical advice as well as implementation support on transactions.The role will work closely with the lead fund manager and junior members of the team. The current team consists of 4 portfolio professionals each running their own separate private Infrastructure fund on behalf of the business. They are looking for an Associate Director to come on board as their second most senior individual in the team. An exceptional opportunity for a highly technical senior Infrastructure debt professional. This one is not to be missed.

THE ROLE:

The role offers varied exposure across the activities of the listed debt infrastructure fund including investment, investment management, reporting, legal documentation and written reports. The primary focus of the role is the Portfolio Management of already executed Infrastructure investments and time spent on other activities will vary across the year. As well as:

•Analyse Infrastructure Debt Investment Opportunities

•Execute Debt Infrastructure Investments

•Lead with monitoring of Infrastructure Investments

•Carry out building their portfolio of global assets

•Marketing and relationship building

•Team participation

THE BACKGROUND:

•Minimum c. 5 years of debt Infrastructure experience at either a fund or bank.

•Relevant Infrastructure experience with a developer, advisor, industrial sponsor, infrastructure fund, project finance advisory and/or lending institution

•Analytically rigorous and detail-orientated particularly with regards to numerical analysis, legal documentation, and written reports

•Have an enthusiastic and tenacious approach with a strong commitment to learning

•Good financial modelling skills (desirable) and an eye for accuracy

•Numerical proficient

•Able to synthesize complex matters effectively and concisely
