THE SEARCH:
We are delighted to be working with a market leading private senior debt fund with over €50bn of AUM, who are looking to hire an associate to join their direct lending execution team. The team complete deals ranging from €100 - €750million with 80% of deals being sponsor led, and they are looking at hiring an associate from a leveraged finance desk at a leading bank in London.
THE ROLE:
Reviewing information memoranda and independent due diligence materials (financial, commercial, legal, tax etc)
Developing a credit view on the underlying business that will include views on leverage, pricing and extra due diligence required.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Credit and information analysis
Strong modelling and written skills to analyse businesses fully and to communicate their investment thesis clearly to Investment Committee.
Accuracy, attention to detail.
The ability to work on many transactions simultaneously and manage workload.
3-6 years’ experience in leveraged finance, gathered at another buyside fund and/or an investment bank or large commercial bank active in leveraged loans.
