Altus Partners has partnered exclusively with a leading Real Estate Investment Manager that is going through exponential growth phase and is looking to bring on a Head of Finance to join the successful and dynamic Investment Operations team based in London. The Head of Finance will be responsible for all finance, investment operations and transaction support for the head of office in London. The role will be responsible for providing operations and reporting support to the business and the European offices. The role will work with the deals and execution team in deal structuring and closing, transaction processing, finance administration of the investment holding companies, review of and valuation and financial reporting for the Assets across Europe and the UK.
THE ROLE:
The role requires a suitable candidate to join the leading Real Estate team within the Investment Office function. The role will directly support the deals team through transactions and will be the main point of contact in the business.
Oversight of all Finance and Accounting responsibilities for Real Estate
Provide financial and operational support on all Real Assets transactions
Main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders providing regular updated information on transaction requirements including holding structures, funding mechanics and valuations
Assist the investment team through the investment and divestment process
Continuous portfolio management and monitoring of the current portfolio
Prepare and review market valuation for private investments in line with group valuation policy
Review accounting and management reports for investment assets across Europe.
Provide oversight on the organizing and maintenance of external teams in Luxembourg
Oversee transaction accounts, cash management and liaising with banks on funding requirements across different countries.
Support information needs of management and working on system projects periodically to meet new accounting and business requirements.
Work closely with regional offices to design and implement various finance improvement initiatives and analytics as part of a investment operations finance transformations

THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accountancy.
Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA (Or equivalent)
Strong understanding of Real Estate Fund structures
12 years relevant working experience with a background in audit or valuations
Experience of managing teams.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, who is keen to learn and pick up new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Comfortable working under pressure, including ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
