Altus Partners is delighted to be retained by a leading European Private Equity fund to appoint a Finance Director for one of their high growth fin-tech assets. The company has shown strong organic commercial growth and is now looking to execute an international buy & build strategy in its bid to become a category defining organisation. To that end, they are seeking a high-calibre Finance Director to build best-in-class finance processes and frameworks, optimize corporate governance and partner the CEO to lead strategic initiatives as they continue to scale at pace. This role will suit an experienced Fin-tech/SaaS Finance Director with Private Capital cycle exposure, or a leading Group Financial Controller from a high-performance environment who is looking to step up.
THE ROLE:
Day-to-day oversight and management of the finance team as it continues to scale
Ensuring robust financial controls and frameworks are in place that can stand up to growth
Presenting insightful MI, analysis, and financial information to the CFO and investors
Full cycle M&A oversight and integration
Preparation of multi-currency consolidation of the group P&L and Balance sheet
Implementation and continuous improvement of the management accounts pack to support the business growth and complexity.
Strong balance sheet control ensuring all accounts are reconciled and reviewed monthly.
Preparation and submission of UK year-end statutory accounts
Working with our accountants for submission of year-end corporation tax returns
Reviewing and ensuring the financial accounting for the group ensuring the correct treatment of items regarding revenue, intercompany, and share options.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fin-tech or SaaS experience
A fully qualified accountant
Ideally from an audit/practice background
Exposure to a private equity cycle is beneficial
International entity exposure is a bonus
