 Altus Partners is delighted to be retained by a notable mid-market Private Equity firm to lead the search for a Financial Controller at a high growth SaaS asset based in London. In line with the recent investment, the company have appointed a leading CFO, and as such are looking to build a best-in-class finance function to support the continued growth efforts. This is critical hire and will be a key part of the Finance leadership team, supporting on all operational finance/strategic activities relating to the execution of the value creation plan, whilst implementing robust governance procedures and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly scaling asset and be part of an expedited exit process. This role will suit a Financial Controller/Head of Finance at a Private Capital backed software/technology asset, ideally with a practice background.

 

 THE ROLE:

  • Full oversight of all compliance, governance and controllership matters across the UK&I region

  • Development and leadership of a growing operational finance function

  • Supporting an active M&A programme with relevant DD and leading the integration agenda 

  • Implementation of best-in-class financial processes, systems and frameworks

  • Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the CFO and investors

  • Ensuring timely closing of the month end process, along with preparation and submission of all statutory accounting in accordance with IFRS

  • Preparation of multi-currency consolidation of the group P&L and Balance sheet

  • Implementation and continuous improvement of the management accounts pack to support the business growth and complexity.

  • Strong balance sheet control ensuring all account and reconciled and reviewed monthly.

  • Reviewing and ensuring the financial accounting for the group ensuring the correct treatment of items regarding revenue, intercompany and share options

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Software/SaaS experience

  • Private Equity exposure

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Ideally from an audit/practice background

  • Experience in working for a high growth organisation is highly beneficial
