THE SEARCH:

Our Global client with Headquarters in London is looking to appoint a Head of Finance into its Corporate division. This VC backed Fintech platform is used by some of the biggest names in tech and they have an exciting commitment to further growth plans.

 

THE ROLE:

Working closely and reporting into the CFO, you will be instrumental in developing the vision of the company. You will be able to strategically develop the financial models and all forecasting, targets, and identify where key opportunities and areas of growth are for the business. To be successful in this role you will need to have a background in working within a high growth business, Private Equity or Venture Capital. This role will require you to take ownership of all financial planning and build relationships with all key stakeholders and have the ability to strategically influence decisions. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in payments and data.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Accountant with Private Equity, Venture Capital background.

  • Manage and advise on special projects - may include new product or pricing launches, new market expansion, and areas of inorganic growth (e.g. M&A, fundraising, JVs, investments)

  • Develop a roadmap for leading, developing and growing the Corporate Finance team.

  • Corporate Finance or with a relevant investment banking, PE / VC or management consulting background.

  • You have a track record of leading and growing teams.

  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, and key metrics used in FinTech and payments businesses.

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and familiarity of working with Controllership teams.

  • Highly numerate, with immaculate attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; you have the ability to summarise complex financial ideas to both financial and non-financial audiences.
