Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a category-defining B2B SaaS organisation backed by a pre-eminent large-cap Private Equity firm. The organisation is a true market leader in its vertical with established international clients and several long-term contracts. They have experienced a period of consistent growth across the group, both organically and through their successful buy & build strategy. The company is now seeking a Head of FP&A to upstream the finance dialogue and data presentation to the investors, along with managing the commercial finance team. This is a key hire and will suit an FP&A/Commercial Finance leader with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, along with Private Equity exposure.

 

THE ROLE: 

  • Oversight and ownership of the commercial finance function, including 6 business partners

  • Lead all data presentation and commercial insight to the board and investors

  • Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan

  • Ownership of the financial components of vendor diligence processes to support corporate transactions

  • Analysis and insight into all aspects of business performance  

  • Interaction with the broader finance team to interpret a complex range of data points

  • Concise and impactful presentation of Key Performance Indicators to the executive team, investors and lenders

  • Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above

  • Performing sensitivity analysis as required  

  • Modelling to assist with transaction/M&A activity 

  

THE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Prior SaaS/ARR experience is highly beneficial

  • Proven management ability across multiple territories

  • Private Equity exposure is advantageous
