Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a category-defining B2B SaaS organisation backed by a pre-eminent large-cap Private Equity firm. The organisation is a true market leader in its vertical with established international clients and several long-term contracts. They have experienced a period of consistent growth across the group, both organically and through their successful buy & build strategy. The company is now seeking a Head of FP&A to upstream the finance dialogue and data presentation to the investors, along with managing the commercial finance team. This is a key hire and will suit an FP&A/Commercial Finance leader with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, along with Private Equity exposure.
THE ROLE:
Oversight and ownership of the commercial finance function, including 6 business partners
Lead all data presentation and commercial insight to the board and investors
Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan
Ownership of the financial components of vendor diligence processes to support corporate transactions
Analysis and insight into all aspects of business performance
Interaction with the broader finance team to interpret a complex range of data points
Concise and impactful presentation of Key Performance Indicators to the executive team, investors and lenders
Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above
Performing sensitivity analysis as required
Modelling to assist with transaction/M&A activity
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Prior SaaS/ARR experience is highly beneficial
Proven management ability across multiple territories
Private Equity exposure is advantageous
