Altus Partners is delighted to be working with a leading venture healthcare investor. They make an impact through investing into Healthcare investments across Europe, these are typically within MedTech and Digital Health. The companies they invest in help to develop life-changing technology. In-line with fundraising activity they are now looking to add an Investment Director to the investment team.

THE ROLE:

  • As part of the firm’s growth objectives, we are looking for somebody with strong investment experience and knowledge and interest in med tech.

  • The role will include, but by no means be limited to the following:

  • Identify industry trends in med-tech and proactively network with prospective companies

  • Maintain and expand existing network in the med-tech space by attending industry specific/ investor conferences and help source new emerging technologies

  • Identify, review/test & analyze the potential in MedTech ventures by being able to see the potential of the market, the management team, the technology and the exit pathway

  • Conduct formal due diligence processes with early stage MedTech ventures, in coordination with the investment team

  • Communicate investment cases and due diligence conclusions in a compelling manner to the Investment Committee

  • Continuously monitor progress of potential future/pipeline investments

  • Track performance of portfolio companies

  • Help facilitate exit discussions and terms negotiation

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in investment analysis and portfolio management, ideally in Health Tech / Digital Health

  • Strong financial acumen & corporate finance

  • Track record in value creation

  • Ability to design and process and commit to timetables

  • Resourceful to lead projects independently
