THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have partnered with a private equity-backed Buy & Build Healthcare company to find a M&A Manager to join their best-in-class M&A function in Germany. They are looking for a German native speaker with a background in Investment Banking and/or Transactions Services to continue the company’s successful acquisition strategy and contribute to business strategy projects as they continue to scale up.
THE ROLE:
Based in Germany, the successful candidate will report directly to the Head of M&A for the country.
The successful applicant will be involved in conducting strategic acquisitions, implementing group inorganic growth strategy and key strategic projects
The role offers an attractive career development track and will allow you to gain significant practical M&A and operational experience with the best in class roll up team
The successful applicant will assist on transactions end-to-end, allowing them to own full scope of the process.
Involvement in working on business plans and group strategy with the senior management team
This role offer a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to top management (C-suite, board members, investors…)
THE REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in M&A at a top tier investment bank or in transaction services
Strong modelling and financial / accounting skills, proficient in power point.
Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects
Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationship with the team.
Must speak fluent German
