THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are delighted to be retained by an investor backed Buy & Build Healthcare company to find a M&A Manager to join their best-in-class M&A and Business Development function in Zurich, Switzerland. They are looking for a profile with a background in Investment Banking and/or Corporate M&A to continue the company’s successful acquisition strategy and contribute to group corporate finance projects as they scale up.

 

THE ROLES:

  • Based in Zurich (or happy to relocate to), the successful candidate will report directly to the Group Head of M&A and Business Development.

  • The successful applicant will be involved in conducting strategic acquisitions into new and existing markets at group level, developing and implementing group strategy and key strategic projects

  • This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity with an attractive career development track that will allow you to gain significant practical M&A and operational experience in the best in class roll up team

  • Involvement in developing & implementing business plans and group strategy with the senior management team

  • Involvement in diverse corporate finance projects  (e.g. debt refinancing, capital markets transactions…)

  • This role offers a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to top management (C-suite, board members, investors…)

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in M&A at a top-tier investment bank or corporate

  • Experience managing full transactions end-to-end

  • Strong modelling and financial / accounting skills, proficient in PowerPoint and presentation skills

  • Strategic, analytical, and commercial thinker, as well as a resourceful problem solver

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Motivated and self-driven with the ability to multitask across projects

  • Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationships with the country teams.

  • Must speak fluent English
