THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is excited to be working on this once in a lifetime opportunity to establish an impact fund that has significant foundations already laid. You will join an established team of 6, by virtue of the corporate venturing team the fund will be partnering with, in a 50/50 partnership under a new name, with new officers and a cornerstone €75m of the €150m fund already raised.
You will need to have private venture capital experience, ideally in clean-tech, and be able to lead an entrepreneurial team focused on investing at the Series A to C stage. You also take on responsibility for fundraising as well as sourcing deals through your global network. The role will be based in Madrid however there is flexibility in the short term as you relocate if necessary.
THE ROLE:
Heavy involvement in fundraising.
Sourcing new clean-tech investment opportunities from your network
Manage a team of 6, and add an additional 4 new hires
Work with portfolio companies and management teams, helping them realise their value
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Significant Venture Capital experience
An international network
Completed full deal cycle from sourcing to exit
Fundraising experience
Proven track record
