THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are working with a reputable fund on a mid-level Institutional Sales mandate. The private equity fund is looking to add to its team as part of an expansion in its London office.
THE ROLE:
Support the head of Investor Relations and Fundraising in the day-to day activities of the business development function and actively help build relationships with institutional clients.
Actively reach out to investors within and outside your existing investor network to introduce the company’s services.
Project manage incoming requests for information from institutional investors and respond in a timely and accurate fashion.
Liaise effectively with other teams.
Research specific market segments as required and deliver accurate assessment of investment requirements and appetite.
Proactively seek out opportunities to improve processes and materials.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
3-6 years’ experience in Private Equity or Private Credit
Placement agent background, fund of funds, private equity fund ideally.
The successful candidate will have an existing client base of institutional investors in the UK.
Having an entrepreneurial and pro-active approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Based or willing to be based in London.
